How to improve constipation?

There are many causes of constipation, but how to improve constipation? 如何改善便秘呢? The following methods might as well be in place.

1. Train the body‘s abdominal breathing People with constipation can train themselves to breathe with the abdomen. By training the abdomen, they can achieve the effect of massaging the abdomen. They can not only deepen breathing and inhale more oxygen, but also effectively massage the stomach and promote intestinal peristalsis, which can have the effect of relieving constipation.

2. Develop a good habit of defecation First of all, we should develop the habit of defecation every morning, because the body has a memory function. But more importantly, do not suppress the impulse of defecation at ordinary times, otherwise it will easily return the stool to the intestine for secondary absorption.

Secondly, it is necessary to control the time of defecation. The defecation time should not exceed ten minutes, otherwise squeezing the intestines for a long time will cause harm to the body. When defecating, don‘t read books or play with your mobile phone to distract your energy. Doing so is easy to defecate for too long and hurt the body.

3. Drink more water every day The formation of feces requires a lot of water. Once there is not enough water in the body, it is difficult for feces to form, and constipation will occur. Therefore, if you want to relieve constipation, you should drink an appropriate amount of water to replenish your body with enough water.

When you get up every morning, you can drink a cup of warm water, which can not only clean the intestines, but also excrete the fecation, but also wake up the ”sleeping“ intestines and speed up the peristalsis of the intestines. It should be noted that don‘t drink water in the first half hours of sleep every day, otherwise it will make the blood thick and water accumulate on the surface of the skin, resulting in edema of the body.

4. Massage the lower abdomen Keep massaging the abdomen every day, once in the morning and once in the evening, for about 10 minutes each time. After about a month, the constipation will improve. Do not massage the abdomen counterclockwise when massaging, so as not to cause damage to the intestines. When massaging, the hands can gently press the abdomen, but the strength should not be too strong, otherwise it will cause the squeezing of the intestines, and the maximum amount of massage should not exceed the ribs.

5. Drink more sugar-free yogurt For patients with constipation, yogurt is the best drink, because yogurt contains lactic acid bacteria, which can be well absorbed by the intestines and promote intestinal peristalsis.

To sum up, most people who have constipation are caused by insufficient intestinal transmission. People who usually like to sit for a long time and lie still may as well get rid of their bad habits. Only when they are good at exercise and drink more water can they discharge the stool smoothly.
